About the Bulldog (English)
The modern Bulldog is a gentle, low-energy companion that adores its family. It is also one of the most extreme conformations in dogs: heavily brachycephalic, broad-chested, and with facial folds that need daily cleaning. Most litters are delivered by caesarean. UK welfare bodies have called for a shift towards moderate, healthier conformation.
