About the English Springer Spaniel
Springers were bred to work all day flushing game, and the working strain in particular has enormous stamina and drive. They are affectionate, quick to learn and deeply attached to their people, but under-exercised Springers become destructive and hard to live with. Scent work and gundog training suit them perfectly.
